What type of mattress is best for a toddler?

Posted by Finest Mattress Comments (1)

Our 2 year old is getting ready for her first bed. Now, I can see how easy it is to spend 00 on a twin mattress set, but is it really necessary? It would seem a warehouse club mattress would do just as well given her light weight. Also, is it best to try to match her crib mattress as far as firmness goes? My own research has me all mixed up and I was curious what actual people have done for their little ones. Thanks in advance.
Why do people even bother asking questions on YA? The other responder has not a clue.

  1. I used the cheapest one I could get because I knew I’d have to start night training soon, and didn’t want her peeing all over a $1000 mattress!!! :) I did how ever get her a nice mattress (I took her with me and let her pick it out) after she was all potty trained with no accidents for a year.
